All forks are in need of rectification. On most of the forks the fork link will not fit inside because the two fork halves have been welded too close together by a couple of mm, so will disassembling and re-welding.
These forks were purchased on a "sold as seen basis" 20 years ago from Scooters India as they were the last forks available and were in need of a few minor alterations to make them usable. All of the forks that we have in stock need one or more of the four holes, which have been drilled incorrectly, rectified so that the 2 fork link bolts can be fitted In the correct position.
These forks are sold as seen with no warranty as they are sold in need of repair.

What couriers do we use in the UK and Offshore Isles?
All UK parcels are delivered using Royal Mail Tracked 24, Parcelforce & FedEx.
Royal Mail Tracked parcels up to 20kg, and up to parcel size 60x46x46. Larger items over 61x46x46 will be sent with FedEx or Parcel Force. We will always choose the most economical option and where possible refund any excess postage cost back to you.
Overseas parcels are sent using the most economical postage option from Royal Mail International Tracked, FedEx, DHL and ParcelForce. Postage will be estimated when ordering, and any excess postage costs will be refunded back to you. Sometimes postage quotes can be higher than we first anticipated, we will contact you regarding this after we have packed your order and request any further postage costs before shipping the parcel.

How long will my order take to dispatch?
We always aim to dispatch your order on the same business day (Mon-Fri). Any orders placed after 4pm will be dispatched the following business day. If for any reason there is a delay, we will contact you.
How long will it take to arrive?
Royal Mail 24 aims to deliver your parcel within 24 hours, this may differ during Bank Holidays and Sundays. FedEx aims to deliver on the next business day. We always aim to dispatch your order on the same day however our couriers cannot always guarantee next day delivery and sometimes there are delays.
My parcel hasn’t arrived in the time specified.
Check your tracking information on your dispatch email. If you do not have a tracking number or you want to speak with us, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
Royal Mail will not class a parcel missing within the first 15 working days from the dispatch date. Any duplicate parcels will not be sent within this time frame. Contact your local sorting office to see if they are holding it there before you make a claim for a missing parcel.
Tracking my parcel
All our parcels are sent using a tracked service. You will receive a tracking number once your order has been dispatched. If you have not received this, please email sales@scooterrestorations.com or call 0115 967 1405 and we will be happy to assist you.
My parcel has arrived and I have an issue
Call or email us and we will be happy to help where possible. If you need to return an item if it is faulty or defective we can offer tracked return labels to make things easier for you. We will always try to resolve any issues you may have as efficiently as possible.
